 Research Appreciation Day 2008 Minimize

The Center for Community Health recently participated in Research Appreciation Day at UNT Health Science Center.  RAD is an institutional tradition encompassing medicine, public health and basic science. The program provides an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share their research efforts with the campus community and the public. The program encourages the development of joint research projects and increases the community's awareness of the outstanding quality and range of research conducted at UNT Health Science Center.

The Center presented two awards in its Community-Based Research Poster Competition.  We would like to congratulate these students for their outstanding research:

Guadalupe Leon for Diabetes Identification and Management Program

Arti Sharma for Cardiometabolic Responses and Ethnicity in Metabolic Syndrome and Diabetes
