In December 2008 the Center for Community Health was invited to present two posters at the NIH Summit on Eliminating Health Disparities, held in Washington DC.  Mieshia Beamon presented a poster on the Aintie-Tia Project, and Jesse Porter presented a poster on the Cancer Disparities Community Research Coalition Project.  It was an honor for CCH to be represented at this national conference and to have an opporunity to let others in the field of health disparities know about the work we are doing here at CCH!
