Community Advisory Board Elects New Leadership for 2010

We would like to express our gratitude to Sue Pickens, CAB Chair, and Dan Reimer, CAB Vice Chair, for their outstanding service and contributions to the Center for Community Health during 2009. Their leadership, enthusiasm and creative collaboration have been invaluable as CCH continues to explore new ways to partner with our communities to conduct meaningful research that translates into better health practices. Thanks, Sue and Dan, for all you have done!

CCH would also like to announce our new CAB Chair, Larry Tubb, and Vice Chair, Jackie Meeks. Larry is the Senior Vice President of System Planning at Cook Children’s Healthcare System, and Jackie is the Director of Public Health Projects at JPS Health Network. Larry and Jackie have both been members of our CAB from the beginning and are fully invested in the Center’s work. We know 2010 will be a banner year under their strong leadership. Here’s to a great year!
